A little more than a month ago I was packing up for a move when I was flipping through my text books to see if I left any loose papers or mementos in them. Out slipped an index card with “I love you” written in an exboyfriend’s handwriting. I’ve never known he slipped that in my textbook. This was at least 4 years ago. It made me kind of sad because hey, someone I used to date loved me. I didn’t feel right about throwing it out or keeping it. So I sent it off to post secret.

I’m on my way out but here’s quick update.

Read book Number 11 = Second Chance by Jane Green. It was meh.
Number 12 = Emotional Intelligence

Now reading three different books at the same time.

Uploaded a new layout for my personal blog.

Goal was to get my third Brazilian but I actually just got my fourth today. I think I found my waxist. Blush Skincare. Maybe I’ll blog in more detail when I have more time. Here’s an entry about my first.

Also finished a private goal. Whew.

I bought a new phone. I also bought insurance because I am hard on electronics. You would think a computer engineer would be better to her equipment right? Wrong I guess. This phone is too expensive to not have insurance. I am a new proud owner of a Palm Pre. It’s a pretty awesome phone. AJ and Bear went with me to go get it. I’ve had it for over a month now and it’s very spiffy. There are a million reviews online, so I won’t say a whole lot. Biggest con: battery life. Biggest pro: pretty easy to do anything you want to do.

First failure: #10

So last month ended up being a doozy and I only blogged 6 times. My mom visited, I lost AJ’s friendship (I still don’t know what I’m doing there), and I ended up getting some seriously upsetting news that will probably have me thrown for a while.

It’s a failure, but I don’t feel bad. I’ll keep documenting my mom’s trip and I’ll continue to try and blog at least 10 times a month. It’s still a good goal.

#26 – Print My Photos

I just received my order of 100 prints from Snapfish.com. I had a coupon for 100 prints for 15 dollars with shipping and handling included. I had some double or triple prints to save to frame for friends. So I guess I had about 90 prints to add to my photo albums. In 2008 I’m caught up through May. In 2009, I’m caught up til March. So I have June -December 2008 and April 2009 – present day to print.

Emmy #89: Chimera and The Coil

*dingdingding* We have … well they aren’t winners, but Bear didn’t recoil in pain this time. Chimera is a cinnamony warm sent (the myrrh and cinnamon were just awesome) that I adored. AJ liked it too. Bear was more so-so. Definitely not great. BUT I’m keeping it because I actually love it. Don’t know when I’ll wear it, but it doesn’t make Bear run screaming.

The Coil… actually smelled kinda like a Mom to me (I actually like it a lot better after wearing it for several hours), but Bear thought it was better than Chimera. It’s probably one of my least favorite of all that I’ve tried with Chimera and New Orleans being my favorites.

I’m going to keep trying though. Tomorrow shall be Hermia. I’ve been dying to see what the pink pepper is like.
